nuuvoo.com (pronounced Nouveau, meaning something new and different) has been started in October 2007 with an intent to create innovative financial tools and combine that with the voice of the community to assist in everyday financial decisions for the common man.
The idea for nuuvoo.com dawned upon us when we were looking to apply for some personal and business credit cards and realized how antiquated the credit card comparison websites were. Users are presented with a list of credit cards and the user has to manually sort through hundreds of cards to determine what really applies to them. What we have observed is something similar to search engine results i.e. no one really goes beyond the first page of results. In addition, these credit card comparison sites pre-rank (i.e. sort) the cards according to their preference or logic which basically means they determine what is best for you, not you. This was not acceptable to us. So, we decided to launch tools that puts 'you' in control.
Our innovative tool nuuvoo Search (Patent Pending) will assist users to find the credit card they are looking for, using various search criteria. With "nuuvoo Search", a user can set all ranges like Introductory APR Period, Regular APR, Credit, Bonus Points etc. and see the magic as the tool narrows down the list from hundreds of credit cards to just a few. From there it really becomes easy for the user to read the details of each credit card and make a decision.
We have incorporated Web 2.0 features into the website. You can review a credit card, rate a credit card, add credit cards to your favorites and also sort credit cards by "Highest Rated" and "Most Viewed". You can also quickly see the "Top 20" credit cards by "Last Week", "Last Month", "Highest Rated" and "Most Viewed". Incorporating these features was our highest priority. These features are sorely lacking on other credit card affiliate websites today. In today's world, where the voice of the community is paramount, these features will assit you in making the right decision when getting a new credit card.

We still have Credit Card Search the traditional way! Some users may still prefer to use this form of search to find the credit card they are looking for. We want to make sure that they can use our site too.
